Following the launch of the Edge 70 Fusion, Motorola has unveiled its latest mid-range smartphone, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro, focusing on its advanced cameras, impressive display, and robust battery life.
The Edge 70 Pro features a sleek, curved design with a distinct camera module shaped like a square with rounded edges. Although it seems to house four cameras, there are actually three, accompanied by a flash. The device is available in Lily White, Titan, and Tea colors, all certified by Pantone.
Already available in select markets, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro is priced at $415 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model, while the enhanced 12GB RAM version with the same storage capacity costs $449.
Equipped with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, the Edge 70 Pro boasts a resolution of 2772×1272 pixels and a density of 450 ppi. Its 144Hz refresh rate ensures smooth user interface interactions and gaming experiences. The screen’s peak brightness reaches up to 5200 nits (1800 nits in High Brightness Mode), enhancing outdoor readability.
At its core, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor, paired with either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The 6500 mAh battery, utilizing silicon-carbon technology, supports rapid 90W charging and 5W reverse wired charging.
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro is equipped with a versatile triple-camera setup. The primary 50MP Sony Lytia 710 sensor features an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization. Additionally, a 50MP ultra-wide camera offers a 12mm focal length, 122° field of view, and f/2.0 aperture. The third module serves a supporting role. For selfies, a 50MP front camera with autofocus and an f/1.8 aperture is included.
